Legendary football personality Bob Paisley poses for press photos on the pitch at Anfield. As well as donning the red of Liverpool as a player for 15 years, Paisley would become the club’s assistant manager shortly after calling time on his playing career, taking up the role for 16 seasons. This would be followed by a nine-year stint as first team manager, which proved to be one of the most successful periods in club football history.
