Central Station as seen from the top of Church Street. Visible on the right of the frame is The Lyceum, originally a library and newsroom, situated at the bottom of Bold Street. Also pictured in the background is Lewis’s department store. While all three of these landmarks remain today, it is only Central Station that can be seen currently sporting a very different façade than is shown here.
